Enjoy a full day excursion to visit an elephant sanctuary that was ethically rescued and learn about them while feeding, bathing, and cooking them in the river. After lunch, head to some nearby waterfalls for some relaxation and exploration.
Get started on your private journey with a pickup from your hotel in Chiang Mai. After that, embark on a scenic journey to a private elephant estate where you will be their caretaker for a half-day. When you arrive, go to the main base camp to change into an elephant caretaker outfit and get ready for a day of fun. Discover the rich and intriguing background of Asian elephants as you prepare healthy herbal snacks for them to munch on. Afterward, provide them with the handmade treats and walk alongside them through the beautiful, lush forest. After that, you can continue your tour by watching elephants bathe in the river before saying goodbye to your new friends and starting your next part of the tour. Once you’re done at the sanctuary, enjoy a delicious Thai lunch. Dishes from the local cuisine are accompanied by rice, and you can finish your meal with a choice of fresh tropical fruits. Continue your journey to the Buatong Sticky Waterfall after lunch. Enjoy a walk and climb from below the falls to the very top while you’re there. The waterfall’s natural limestone construction makes it easy to walk and climb to the top, while enjoying the clear water to cool down. Once your tour is finished, depart from the waterfall to return to Chiang Mai.
You'll be picked up directly from your accommodation in Chiang Mai city center. It would be appreciated if you could wait in your hotel lobby for 10-20 minutes prior to the confirmed pick up time.
