Take a trip to Doi Inthanon National Park, Thailand’s highest peak, to discover its unparalleled natural beauty and cool off. Go hiking through a forest that is lush and green and visit a local hill tribe.
This full-day tour from Chiang Mai will take you to Doi Intanon National Park, where you can experience Thailand’s highest peak. Your guide for the hike will be someone from the local Karen hill tribe.
Take a walk through the jungle and see exotic birds and butterflies. The hill tribe village can be reached after about 2 hours of hiking.
Visit Baan Khun Klaang, the largest Karen community in the park, and then take a tour of the stunning Wachirathan Waterfall. Take a break and have lunch at a local restaurant.
Drive to the top of the mountain after lunch and discover the Ang-Kha Nature Trail. Keep going until you reach the two pagodas constructed in tribute to the King and Queen of Thailand. Enjoy the royal flower garden that surrounds the site.
You'll be picked up directly from your accommodation in Chiang Mai city center. It would be appreciated if you could wait in your hotel lobby for 10-20 minutes prior to the confirmed pick up time.
